Enrichment
Our enrichment programme is designed to broaden students’ experiences beyond the classroom and support their personal, social, and academic development. It provides opportunities for students to explore new interests, develop key life skills, and discover their strengths and talents.
Enrichment forms part of our personal development offering and includes extra-curricular clubs, community groups, assemblies, House system, and leadership opportunities.
Through a wide range of activities – including sports, D of E, creative arts, music, academic/support/revision clubs, leadership opportunities, and community involvement – students are encouraged to build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and independence.
The programme supports wellbeing and promotes positive attitudes to learning while helping students develop skills that are valuable for further education, employment, and life beyond school.
The enrichment programme is inclusive and accessible to all students, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate, challenge themselves, and thrive. By engaging in enrichment activities, students develop a richer, more balanced school experience that complements their academic learning.
How to find out about extra-curricular opportunities
A termly timetable is produced and shared with students via the form time programme. Staff regularly advertise and promote enrichment opportunities via form time messages issued by the form tutor. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities delivered before school, during lunchtime, and after school.
